Serbian Zastava M05 rifle family

Hello everyone again, and here is my next work by Foreign Kalashnikovs, which will show you these Serbian assault rifles that, from 2016 or 2017 until today, and together with the entire family of Zastava M21 rifles, ( local versions of the Israeli IMI Galil assault rifle) are the standard weapons of the armed forces of the present Republic of Serbia, including the special forces of that country. Well, today I'll show you the Serbian Zastava M05 assault rifles, which are much more modern and advanced versions of the old Zastava M70 and Zastava M77 rifles, which were the former Yugoslavian versions of the Soviet AKM assault rifle. These rifles were intended to replace Yugoslav weapons that are still used today by many Serbian police and military regiments and units. Because the Zastava M05 rifles are newly designed and manufactured weapons, very little is known about these new Serbian rifles. Apparently, only the following is known; the handguards, pistols and butts are made of black polymer and not teak wood, as was usually the case with guns from the 1970s and 1977. The reason the materials for these parts have been changed is so much to lighten the weight of weapons as to increase heat resistance when Zastava M05 assault rifles fire long bursts of bullets in automatic mode. The Zastava M05 C1 carbine incorporates a folding stock that is very similar to the stock of the American M4A1 carbine and can be made of both metal and hard plastic. While the rest of the Zastava M05 rifles incorporate the same black polymer folding stock that the Zastava M21 rifle carries and is collected towards the right side of the weapon. Said piece slightly inclined downwards to avoid that the bolt collides with the stock when the weapon is firing with the stock retracted. The Zastava M05 assault rifles have the barrel bores and parts inside the receiver made of chrome-plated steel to increase corrosion resistance, but greatly decrease accuracy. This difference can be very striking, since the old Zastava M70 rifles had the same parts made of non-chromed steel, which made these rifles much more precise than a Soviet AKM, but much more susceptible to corrosion than the rifle. Russian. To counteract the problem of decreased accuracy, the Zastava M05 assault rifles received numerous mechanical enhancements that allow these Serbian weapons to have much higher accuracy than their predecessors, the Zastava M70 and M77 rifles. The forend and mechanism drawer lids of the Zastava M05 rifles incorporate the famous Picantinny rails to add all kinds of sights, vertical grips, grenade launchers and other accessories to the weapons. Like the Zastava M70 and M77 assault rifles, the Zastava M05 rifles also fire 620 rounds per minute and these rounds reach speeds of up to over 720 meters per second. But, for now, the effective range of the Zastava M05 assault rifles is unknown, but it could be argued that it is much greater than the range of the old Zastava M70 and Zastava M77 rifles. These differences demonstrate that the Serbian Zastava M05 assault rifles are weapons of far greater quality and performance than their predecessors from the former Yugoslavia. For this reason, the Serbian M05 rifles are much more expensive than the Yugo M70 and M77 rifles and, for the time being, will remain unique and exclusive weapons for the Serbian armed forces, as is the case with North Korea and its Type 98 rifles. This is mainly due to the fact that such Serbian assault rifles have been recently designed and manufactured and no versions have yet been created for export abroad. I hope you like my new work and another cordial greeting. Until next time!
